Here is a simple upgrade to the default HUD view in CFS2. As the default panels in the game have no trim indicator, and even worse, the HUD view did'nt either, I promptly fixed it for myself. The two gau files included are from my cfs1 gauges file and I have no idea who made them, but as I am a solid free-ware user, I am sure they are fair game to be used here.
As for the ideas origin beyond my wants and needs, the compass text was from a d/l without a readme, and Im at a loss to give credit beyond the fact that Bruno Deffort seems to be the earliest listing in this line of thought i can find so i'll leave it at that. Should you recognize your work here, plz drop me a line at accarnahan@earthlink.net with your site addy so that I can give proper credit here. hate feeling as though ive pilfered something.

Installation: put the gau files in your GAUGES folder in the parent CFS2 folder, put the default_panel.cfg file in your parent CFS2 folder, back these files up first if you prefer. Or just overwrite when asked. your call, works fine on my lowly rig.

Should this set fire to your keyboard, spread to your cat, who then spreads the fire to all ajoining rooms of your house, I shall not be held responsible. In short use at YOUR own risk.

Freeware as it should be. ELE out
